Only a couple left
Yo. WTF the happened to summer? There's only a few remaining races left this summer. It sure went fast. I think square lake, the track and state road, are the only races left. This weekend is KC which I am amped for, but bummed to because they took out the best stage due to road const. Oh well. In a week I am coming back to Mantana for Pete Fords wedding. That sure be fun and it'll be nice to see all the peeps out there.
Anyway, breaks' over so back at it. Anyway, I found a Midnight Evils CD in my room that I lost in 2001, Nice...

Bored
Yo. Well the job search is starting to officially suck. At least youtube is alway good for wasting time. Anyway, we are starting to ride better as a team and that is a good feeling. Hopkins was really close. Probably the best crit we have raced this season. Dano is starting to get some form and we are all glad for that. Anyway, this weekend is the tour of Granite Country, so that will be a good race. He is a short little Bio of the most influential guy you prob never heard of. Al right then, Pete, Jens, Donimator, and anyone else who is healing get better quick!

THe happs'
Yo. Well the last month has been a real buzz saw. Lots 'a work, and not soo much bike racing. NVGP proved to be a fun one. We rode pretty well as a team. I thought Hanna was pretty funny when he told me that 51% of the invite only 'pro'race was armatures. Every one has their on little story from that race. Mine was a half hour solo chase after flatting. That was painful. Last weekend was a fun one. The state crit was a different venue and the course was just great. Windy as wack, just like last year forced a split. Dougo, Jens, Hackworthy, and me. We lapped the field and watched each other pretty good. GP got us again and Dave had a great win. We still won because Dave is from WI. So grandstay swept the podium which we usually don't do unless it's a time trial. Anyway, this weekend is Northfield and I don't think many people are going. So we will see how it goes. Al right back to the grind, landscaping today...uuuggghhhh.

Good one
Yo, Last night was great both racing and drinking. I will be happy when the old course will be ready at the fairgrounds though. It felt like we just raced up and down the 180. Oh well. A big thanks to the Dan Cleary for the grad party and all who came! Great times. I like that bar. Here is a game I would like to try:

Twitter killed blogging
Yo, twitter has killed blogging quite noticeably. I think it's just because it's like a mini blog, which btw still kicks facebook's ass!!! Anyway, Racing has been al right. Pretty hot and cold. Iowa was ok. Dan and I did the old man race on sunday and blew our bodies up. Micah rode well and got 19th at Snake! Anyway, I deserved a good ass kicking to get some fitness rollin'. Tomorrow should be fun and have plenty of action so I'm looking forward to that.
That's all I got.
That's all I got.

Graduating wasn't as cool as racing.
Yo, Well last weekend I graduated college. Pretty amazing. I was squirming in my chair knowing there was a bike race going on. I'm glad I'm done but what a waste of a fuckin' day. Commencement is soo lamo. I only did it for my Mom and Grandma. I got a ride in on Saturday, but I flatted two times. Ahhhhhh. I'm excited for OPUS but not for the back to back time trial weekend. At least Saturday at the cool bar.
Ok, back to diggin'

Alomost Done
Yo, Well racing is in full swing now. Five races done so far and I think everyone is starting to come around. Ken Woods went pretty well. Grandstay rode like a different team, keeping the pace steady all day. It was pretty fun. It felt much easier to race this way. OPUS last night didn't go as well as we had hoped. We just had trouble gettin' the train rollin' Oh well, that's why it's called bike practice. Anyway, I'm almost done with school. One week from today, I'm done. Then it's back to pounding nails. This weekend should be good for racin'. NVGP qualifier #1 on Saturday, and Lacrosse crit on Sunday. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do both. Playin' it by ear I guess. Anyway, first period bell just rang so it's off to class.

Re-session
Yo. Well OPUS was frickin' hard last night. I don't remember it being that hard last year. Which basically means that, I am not fit yet, or people a hungry this year. Wholly frick pile. Saturday might suck if It was as hard as last night. Ahh, I guess I gotta ride a little more. Good thing Jensie, Micah, Pance, Matt, and Dougo were better than Dano and I. We had a good laugh about how we both aren't quite there yet. However, Dano did get some points. So pretty good, pretty good to him. Anyway, I have to sit in a room and watch kids take their MCA test (new Iowa Basic test) Wow, it's only 9:59, I've only been here 2.5 hrs. Today is gonna suck.
See ya at Durand

Another week in the books
Yo,
Well, to day is a staff development day so no kids, just boring ass paper work and entering grades...ish. Last night was a great tuff ride. Lots 'a peeps. Ran in to Dougo and Dano, which was pretty much great. OPUS starts next week and that will be fun to try out the leadout for the first time this Year. I think we all have pretty good fitness for this time of year, so I am excited to see how we stack up. This weekend will be nice so I hope we can get a couple good efforts in. Al right, time for meetings.

Back to ish!!!
Yo. After last week/weekend we all have been spoiled with swizzy weather. Last weekend we got some great secret training in! This weekend is gonna suck. Back to the winter bike...what a drag dude. Everything is kinda ish this week. Today I went to the store because I woke up and forgot I had to get milk. So I go to the store to get milk, bread and coffee. Well, I grabbed french vanilla, not french roast. When I smelled it in the french press I knew I had grabbed the wrong coffee. So no I have to drink it for a week. AHHHH. Plus, I'm back on the trainer due to the weather. Williams loves this weather and is going for a drizzle ride to day. The last time I was on a drizz ride was with him like 5 years a go. Anyway, I'm done cryin' for now. I wish there was a tough ride tonight.

The Nice bike, and facebook.
Yo.
Last night I rode the nice bike out side for the first time. It went pretty well. I didn't have to adjust anything, which surprised me a little bit. It rides pretty well, although there is a big difference riding a bike without an integrated seatpost. I forgot how much those seatposts flex when you climb. However, it's also more forgiving on rough stuff. Give and take I guess. Hopefully, it won't rain after school today so I can ride it again. In other news, my good buddy Matt Handrick joined facebook...WTF just happened!!! If there was one kid who hated facebook as much as me it was Matt. Anyway, it's a sad day in my world. At least to day is Fitness friday, so the kids can do whatever they want in gym. I'm not a huge basketball fan(which is what 99% of them want to do), but I do like the look on some kids' faces when I make the occasional 3 pointer. Hopefully last hour will want to play floorhockey. Next week we start a swimming unit and the winer'swill be out is full force, so I guess I should enjoy today.

Almost Spring!!!
Yo,
Well, it's doing this out side:
which sucks but at least its not stickin' too bad. Last weekend I actually was quite productive. Got a good hammer fest in on Saturday, worked on Sunday, and got some homework done. Last week my DVD player died:(. AS a result I am back to a VCR.
The best part about my VCR is that its a TV TOO!!!
Anyway, I think I'm gonna shave my legs soon. I wonder what the hood kids are gonna say when they see 'em. This week I started at Arlington. I walked into a floor hockey unit too!!! It's pretty funny cause most of these kids have never played so they get pretty pissed when I school 'em. It's hard for me to tone it down cause I'm competitive. Tomorrow I think I'll play goalie. Anyway, Steph has been out of town a little bit so the hound and I have been Hangin' out. His favorite things include: sleeping, eatting, and running up to stangers for attention. What a great hound!

Ish watt
Yo.
We pushed the ish watt a bit on Saturday. First time of the year really. It went ok.
Great to see everybody too. So far I think we will be pretty good. I got dropped two times, but not too bad. I liked seeing everyone's winter bikes. I think next time I'm gonna have a winter bike gallery. Dan was on old faithful, as was I. Dougo busted out the rocky mountain. Williams was on the Bianchi and Schlick was on the Poprad with Dave on an old trek. I miss the days when we did rides like this every weekend. We all grows up, we all grows up. Well, that's about it for this week, I'll work on some winter bike pictures for next time. Oh yeah, I broke my fender just as we finished up the ride, DAMN IT!!!!

Gettin' by
Yo,
Well a lot has happened since the last update. The Sable finally died...This has sucked. I have to sit through rush hour on my way to student teaching. Swizzy. I bought a bunch of stuff I shouldn't have, but I didn't know the sable was going to die. Oh well. Training has been not good. I told Matt I wasn't gonna be fast till July though. The last couple weekends I was able to get out and get some base in, during the week however, homework has been kicking my ass. It's time for an end of an era too.
This year I didn't get Northwave shoes.
I got my first pair in 96 when I was on the Schwinn Homegrown team. With the exception of one year on shimano's I've always had Northwave's.
I got some Lake CX 400's.
Mainly because the come in wide.
I got slab feet. So far so good. I also did the heat molding, wow! I really like 'em so far. Al right, time to go to school! More Floor hockey!!!

New year
Yo. Well I don't know how you felt about 2008, but I say good riddance.
2009 will be better. Anyway, I start student teaching Monday in St. Paul. I can't believe I'm done in may!!! Took long enough. Right now I got the plague. Alex got it first and then me. I hope I didn't pass it on to anyone else. Glad it was this week instead of next week. Training has sucked cause it snows 4 times a week. Oh well we will be faster in July and August, which by the way is going to be a busy month. Anyway, that's about all I got, time for another nap.
This is the grossest pop I have ever tasted! I tried it at work a while ago, ish.
