Movin'

Yo. After 5 years in Minneapolis, (i cant believe it)We are round headed north, Anoka bound. Donimator Country. Janelle and I bought my Grandma's house. It pretty a swizz double bungalow rambler. We're renting out one side and setting up shop in the other. So it's good bye greenway and lakes, hello county roads and the river. We are actually pretty excited. I am officially a townie. It's helping grandma out cause that racket of a nursing home is 7K a month, so the house money is good for her. Anoka is good for flat roads and cross wind. In 4 years I am racing masters so I guess I should start training for that. I'm hoping to have a get together in the summer sometime. So if you have nothing to do on a whenever it will be, feel free to stop by for some food and drinks. I'll have pics soon. Congrats to Gregg and Patty on gettin' on GearGrinder!

yo, it has been way to long. Well, racing is over for me. At least till I'm a masters' racer, 4 yrs to go. Thanks to Matt, Grandstay,and my teammates. I will miss it. I'll still be at some cross races and road races next summer. I just heard there are not hand ups in cross this year. WTF is that about? Anyway, I'll see ya on the road.

Spring! Sing!

Yo. Well it looks like spring is finally here. About time. Training has started to pick up and the last couple weeks have been good. Super secret training is in full swing. Karaoke has also been in full swing. Sunday Funday's have been fun but make the week a little hard to get back into it. I think a rest week might be in order. Gettin' Warmer

Yo. Well it looks like it will get a little warmer towards the end of this week so maybe a another weekend ride is on tap. Last weekend I rode with The Kruse missile Skibbalicous and Brandon. Skibby and I fell a couple times and and now my hip is sore. Uuuuhhfff, I am starting to feel a little old. Last night I went and saw Avitar with Janelle. It was a great movie. iMax an 3d glasses were pretty wild. Before the movie we went to Big Bowl. The place has great recovery food and home made ginger ale. Another great weekend!!! I'll get some picks up soon too. I know words are boring without pictures after a few posts.

Yo. Well the nice bike is here and I have been riding it quite a bit on the trainer. It feels a little different than last year's bike, its good so far. I do hate the trainer. Last weekend Janelle and I went up to Staples to visit some of her friends. It was a great time. Small town America at it's finest. We saw her friend's new baby, and met the family. Great times. Later we went to twisted sister's and were the only people singin' Karaoke. Pretty fun. We saw quite a few cougars and a pretty good number of people stuck in an era or two ago. Fun. Finished out the weekend with a sunday fun day at my place with my crew. Good times had by all. Sing star is getting pretty serious lately. I hope to get the bowling rollin' soon too. Hopefully on Friday. Al right, till next time.

Hot and Cold

Yo. Wow it has been a long while since I have updated so I guess it's time. With the death of Bikethrow, it's twitter only for me. I still haven't caved on facebook. Twitter is it. Anyway, the Holidays were great. Spent lots of great times with friends and family and Janelle especially :) Anyway, training has officially started and it's been al right. Actually I've lifted weights for a couple months so that's pretty good. It's pretty cold out so it's the trainer for me right now. I see that JimmerC is ridin' outside which sounds about right. Anyway, Janelle is training for a half marathon in July and I've been running a bit too. What a great goal! Funny how now I feel good running and not last fall when it mattered. 2010 is gonna be a great year, I can just tell!!!
Al right back to work. Uhhhgggggg!

Only a couple left

Yo. WTF the happened to summer? There's only a few remaining races left this summer. It sure went fast. I think square lake, the track and state road, are the only races left. This weekend is KC which I am amped for, but bummed to because they took out the best stage due to road const. Oh well. In a week I am coming back to Mantana for Pete Fords wedding. That sure be fun and it'll be nice to see all the peeps out there.
Anyway, breaks' over so back at it. Anyway, I found a Midnight Evils CD in my room that I lost in 2001, Nice...

Bored

Yo. Well the job search is starting to officially suck. At least youtube is alway good for wasting time. Anyway, we are starting to ride better as a team and that is a good feeling. Hopkins was really close. Probably the best crit we have raced this season. Dano is starting to get some form and we are all glad for that. Anyway, this weekend is the tour of Granite Country, so that will be a good race. He is a short little Bio of the most influential guy you prob never heard of. Al right then, Pete, Jens, Donimator, and anyone else who is healing get better quick!

THe happs'

Yo. Well the last month has been a real buzz saw. Lots 'a work, and not soo much bike racing. NVGP proved to be a fun one. We rode pretty well as a team. I thought Hanna was pretty funny when he told me that 51% of the invite only 'pro'race was armatures. Every one has their on little story from that race. Mine was a half hour solo chase after flatting. That was painful. Last weekend was a fun one. The state crit was a different venue and the course was just great. Windy as wack, just like last year forced a split. Dougo, Jens, Hackworthy, and me. We lapped the field and watched each other pretty good. GP got us again and Dave had a great win. We still won because Dave is from WI. So grandstay swept the podium which we usually don't do unless it's a time trial. Anyway, this weekend is Northfield and I don't think many people are going. So we will see how it goes. Al right back to the grind, landscaping today...uuuggghhhh.

Yo, Last night was great both racing and drinking. I will be happy when the old course will be ready at the fairgrounds though. It felt like we just raced up and down the 180. Oh well. A big thanks to the Dan Cleary for the grad party and all who came! Great times. I like that bar. Here is a game I would like to try:

Twitter killed blogging

Yo, twitter has killed blogging quite noticeably. I think it's just because it's like a mini blog, which btw still kicks facebook's ass!!! Anyway, Racing has been al right. Pretty hot and cold. Iowa was ok. Dan and I did the old man race on sunday and blew our bodies up. Micah rode well and got 19th at Snake! Anyway, I deserved a good ass kicking to get some fitness rollin'. Tomorrow should be fun and have plenty of action so I'm looking forward to that.

Graduating wasn't as cool as racing.

Yo, Well last weekend I graduated college. Pretty amazing. I was squirming in my chair knowing there was a bike race going on. I'm glad I'm done but what a waste of a fuckin' day. Commencement is soo lamo. I only did it for my Mom and Grandma. I got a ride in on Saturday, but I flatted two times. Ahhhhhh. I'm excited for OPUS but not for the back to back time trial weekend. At least Saturday at the cool bar.
